Troop Historian
The Historian collects and preserves Troop photographs, news
stories, trophies, flags, awards, and other memorabilia.
Requirements:
To become a Historian a Scout must meet
the following criteria:
- Active status
- At least 1st Class rank
Specific Duties:
- Takes pictures at all Troop activities.
- Gathers pictures and facts about Troop
Activities and keeps Web page current.
- Is responsible for the Troop bulletin
board.
- Attends the PLC.
- Sets a good example.
- Wears the uniform properly and to
all Troop meetings and activities
- Lives by the scout oath and Law.
The tenure of this position is for 6
months. To receive leadership credit for this position of
Troop Historian, the Scout must participate in at least
six Troop meetings, one COH, and at least two Scout activities
or campouts and at least 1 PLC per quarter.
